Why do I Love Family Portraits? You know the lyrics to In Your Arms by Chef's Special or Lullaby by The Dixie Chix? Well, this may sound a bit out there, but hey, we are parents and so out there is not very far. Mortality becomes so much more real after you have buried both of your grandmas and your mother. It's not a long jump to imagining your own kids having to bury you. What's the saying? Life is short. It's true and childhood is so short. The love that is established during this short time is so important and so strong. I still feel the love from my grandmas and mother, specifically that love that came from when I was small, it has carried through and I hold them in my heart wherever I go. When it is my time, I want my babes to look at the photographs of them when they were young and see a mama that held them close, that loved them with her whole heart. I want them to look at those photographs and feel so so loved, a love that transcends all things, even presence on this earth. When I photograph your family I am looking to capture those moments for you too.

"It was a pleasure working with Liz. We've had great professional photos taken on several occasions. Our experience and end product with Liz was excellent. Our two year old felt very comfortable during the process and Liz captured her personality very well. She brought age appropriate props, which were a lot of fun. We love the photos and can't wait to do some more in the future." -Jodie I.
