What happens when you let your session unfold naturally?

I had the incredible honor of capturing the Smithson family shortly after the quarantine restrictions were lifted.  We remain a safe social distance at all times.  It was an absolute joy to observe this family interacting, the fun parts and the hard parts.  Kids do not always act the way we want during a family photo session, but if you stand back and just let them unfold... that is when the magic happens.  These little ones were so fun: climbing on the rocks, running through the grass and looking at the deer; there were so many beautiful moments.  Moments that are now frozen forever, a little family heirloom for these girls to always look back on.  One of their babes was a little tired at the end and we were still able to capture some of my favorite images while her mama snuggled her back to the car.  Warm and comforted in her mamas arms.  As a mama myself, these fleeting moments are just priceless.
